Leah Santalis, M.A., CF-SLP is a compassionate and highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish, and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University at Buffalo.
Leah brings specialized training and a strong clinical foundation to her work, holding certifications in SPEAK OUT!® and the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP™). She applies these tools to support individuals with voice, swallowing, and communication challenges, with a particular focus on those with neurological impairments.
Her clinical strengths lie in cognitive-communication rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Leah is passionate about helping clients regain independence, confidence, and meaningful communication through individualized and evidence-based therapy. She is especially dedicated to developing a group therapy program modeled after the SPEAK OUT!® approach—designed to foster connection, cognition, and communication for people living with Parkinson’s.
Leah’s warm,joyful, person-centered approach makes her a strong advocate for her clients’ overall well-being and long-term success.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, working out, and hiking in nature.
