Joanne Paulino, PTA is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at High Quality Home Therapy, known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and her ability to build trust quickly with individuals and families. With a strong foundation in clinical excellence and communication, Joanne is deeply committed to helping patients improve mobility, regain independence, and achieve their therapy goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Joanne earned her Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from LaGuardia Community College and brings over eight years of experience across skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and home-based care settings. She currently provides physical therapy services and she delivers high-quality care in collaboration with physical therapists, physicians, patients, and caregivers.
Throughout her career, Joanne has worked with individuals with a wide range of orthopedic and medical conditions, providing therapeutic exercise programs, gait and functional training, and patient education. She is skilled in fitting and training patients on the safe use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, braces, and prosthetics. Joanne emphasizes patient education and compliance with home exercise programs, empowering clients to take an active role in their recovery.
Joanne’s experience in home care allows her to adapt treatment plans to each patient’s unique environment and needs. She is fluent in Spanish, enhancing her ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and support meaningful patient engagement.
