Michael Goldsmith, DPT is a highly skilled physical therapist at HQHT whose knowledge, dedication, and passion for helping others shine through in everything he does.
Michael Goldsmith, DPT has been a valued member of the High Quality Home Therapy team for over eight years. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Michael brings a strong foundation in both rehabilitation and performance, with additional experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist working in private health clubs, including the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Prior to joining HQHT, Michael worked in an orthopedic outpatient setting, where he developed his expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. He is board certified in Orthopaedics through the American Physical Therapy Association and has experience working with both high school and collegiate athletes, as well as individuals with more complex medical needs in the home care setting.
Michael specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and has a particular interest in sports medicine, movement analysis, and functional mobility. His clinical approach focuses on identifying movement impairments, addressing underlying deficits, and empowering patients with techniques to improve joint and soft tissue mobility. He is dedicated to helping individuals return to their daily activities, sports, and overall lifestyle with confidence and strength.
Michael works with patients throughout the Fairfield to Milford areas of Connecticut, providing personalized care that meets each individual where they are. He is known for his thoughtful and thorough approach, as well as his commitment to long term outcomes and patient independence.
Outside of his clinical work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. He stays active through strength training, enjoys biking, and also serves as a church organist on the weekends.
