JR Meehan, PT, DPT has been a valued member of the High Quality Home Therapy team since 2016. A Stamford, Connecticut native with strong ties to the local community, JR brings both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to the individuals and families he serves.

JR is a physical therapist with extensive experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and sports rehabilitation. He works with patients in our Stamford rehabilitation gym and sensorimotor clinic, as well as in patients’ homes throughout lower Fairfield County. His diverse skill set allows him to treat a wide range of conditions, supporting individuals across the lifespan and at all stages of recovery.

JR has helped patients regain independence following stroke, recover from injuries and surgeries, and return to the activities they love. From reducing pain and improving strength and endurance, to guiding athletes safely back to sport after concussion or injury, JR is dedicated to helping each person reach their full potential. He has worked with individuals managing neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, as well as those recovering from fractures, sports injuries, and other physical challenges.

Known for his encouraging and motivating approach, JR has a unique ability to connect with people and inspire them to achieve more than they thought possible. He meets each individual where they are and supports them every step of the way toward their goals.
