Jessica Trujillo, MS, OTR is a dedicated occupational therapist at HQHT whose passion, perseverance, and compassionate care shine through in everything she does.
Jessica Trujillo, MS, OTR has grown alongside High Quality Home Therapy through a journey defined by commitment and purpose. She first joined HQHT as a high school intern and, over the years, has developed into a skilled and compassionate occupational therapist. Inspired by her own experience receiving occupational therapy as a child, Jessica discovered her calling early and has pursued it wholeheartedly.
Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University. Throughout her time with HQHT, she has taken on a variety of roles including intern, administrative assistant, and student therapist, gaining a deep understanding of both the clinical and operational aspects of care. Today, she works with individuals of all ages and diagnoses, bringing both professional expertise and personal insight to her work.
Jessica is known for her positive energy, empathy, and dedication to helping others achieve meaningful progress in their daily lives. She is committed to providing individualized, person centered care that supports each client’s goals and overall well being. Her enthusiasm and connection with those she serves help create a supportive and motivating therapeutic environment.
In addition to her clinical work, Jessica has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the field. She received the Leadership Award for Young Professionals from the Connecticut Occupational Therapy Association and has presented on occupational therapy for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome at both the ConnOTA Annual Conference and internationally for the Ehlers Danlos Association.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys staying active and participating in running races, including marathons. She brings the same determination and drive to her personal pursuits as she does to her work with clients.
