Danielle Reichert, COTA/L is a dedicated and versatile occupational therapy assistant at HQHT whose warmth, breadth of experience, and genuine commitment to her clients shine through in everything she does.


Danielle Reichert, COTA/L, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. As a member of the High Quality Home Therapy team, Dani is dedicated to helping individuals improve their independence, safety, and quality of life through personalized occupational therapy services delivered in the comfort of their homes.

Her roots are in pediatrics, where she spent many years working in school settings from Pre-K through 4th grade, helping children develop the foundational motor, sensory, and functional skills needed for success at home and in the classroom. Throughout her career, Dani has gained extensive experience in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, hospitals, high school transition programs, and home health, giving her a well-rounded perspective and the ability to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs.

Dani has a deep passion for working with individuals living with chronic illness and is known for going above and beyond in every session. She approaches therapy with creativity and genuine intention, making each visit feel personal and meaningful. Her warm, authentic nature allows her to build real connections with her clients rooted in trust, encouragement, and care.

Dani is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and a trained family to family leader for NAMI Connecticut, where she volunteers to lead educational support groups for caregivers of loved ones living with mental illness. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid, reflecting her belief that emotional well being is just as important as physical health.

Outside of work, Dani enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling, live music, and spending time with her doodle Gus and tuxedo cat Leo.

Dani is more than a skilled clinician. She is a connector, a creative, and a genuine advocate for every person she works with, bringing warmth, creativity, and heart to every home she walks into.
