Paul Bertuglia is a compassionate and dedicated SLPA at HQHT whose genuine care for others, strong communication skills, and passion for making a meaningful difference shine through in everything he does.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from Butler University in 2022, building a strong foundation in communication and human behavior that continues to shape his work today. He is currently pursuing further studies at New York University as he continues his career growth in speech language pathology.
Paul currently serves as a Behavior Technician at SEED Autism Center in Stamford, CT, where he provides evidence based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in both one on one and group settings. He implements individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts to support language and skill development, while carefully tracking client progress to inform ongoing care.
Prior to this, Paul worked as a Marketing Representative at Distinctive Directories, where he developed marketing strategies and built strong client relationships across multiple publications, experience that speaks to his ability to connect with people and communicate effectively. He also spent time abroad as a Language and Culture Assistant in Santoña, Spain, teaching English to high school students and introducing them to American culture, further deepening his ability to connect with diverse populations.
Paul's commitment to service extends beyond his professional work. As Head of Events for Best Buddies at Butler University, he coordinated community events supporting inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and through Butler Alternative Breaks he facilitated reflection sessions on housing advocacy and community engagement.
Paul brings warmth, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others to every interaction. His diverse background in behavior therapy, communication, and community advocacy make him a valuable and caring addition to the HQHT team.
